Abandoning law school after two dreary years, Julie decided to follow her heart into the world of food… She began to work in catering companies, restaurants and Directors dining rooms as a kitchen assistant rising very quickly to become head chef of William Norris within 3 years. Here she helped to expand the company to become one of London’s top Catering companies with one of the most exclusive client lists around.
In her 7 years as Head Chef and subsequently Executive Chef her main passions were developing new and innovative menus, keeping up with presentation fashions and flavour fads but more importantly she dedicated herself to training other chefs….
With a natural instinct for finding peoples’ strengths and with a whole hearted belief in others’ abilities Julie successfully trained many a kitchen hand to go on to have successful cheffing careers.
Aiming now to bring this training out of the professional kitchen into your domestic one.
